Love the reflection on negative associations - negative space (space that hasn't/should be filled, so they say), lost time (space that was left but should have been filled/made productive, so they say). But it's those negative spaces that make space for the unheard (silenced by our pace?) yearnings. The shavings and sawdust that smooth over the more forced joints so we can notice and shift into the more fitting subtle curvatures. I'll be waiting for a ukulele performance in the future :)
